The Longfibre reputation for manufacturing strong paper for excellent packaging product is enhanced by two of the world's largest continuous digesters-the nearly 20-story Kamyr digesters which produce the highest quality Kraft pulp.
Superior energy conservation has been achieved at Longview Fibre through tight control of the manufacturing process with comprehensive computerization. The Company's leadership in producing top-quality recycled-content paper products has developed through our state-of-the-art recycling plant at Longview.
Longview Fibre's network of paper-packaging facilities produce a wide array of corrugated and solid-fiber containers. The tonnage of paper and container board used in the converting plants equals approximately 65% of the Longview mill production.
Our facilities focus on individual customer needs, developing specific grades for specific grades for specific product requirements. Our capabilities for modifying manufacturing, and our intensive technical field service program help assure that our customers' needs are met.
