Longview Fibre Paper and Packaging Announces Addition of Three New Managers
LONGVIEW, Wash., March 18, 2010—Longview Fibre Paper and Packaging, Inc. recently hired several new additions including: David Roseman, regional accounts manager; Scott Sander, Seattle box plant manager; and Mike Holden, Oakland sales manager.
David Roseman joined Longview late last month as the regional accounts manager responsible for selling specialty paper throughout the United States. He brings more than 16 years of experience in domestic sales of specialty paper grades. During this time, he has had increasing levels of responsibility with companies including Zellerbach, Midland Paper, Boise Cascade and most recently Thilmany Papers, Inc.
"With new product roll outs such as FibreGreen®, we recognized the need to have a sales presence dedicated solely to promoting sales of specialty paper grades to the market," said Will Lindsay, manager of kraft convertor sales. "Dave's experience and expertise in paper sales makes him an excellent fit for our needs."
Longview also welcomed Mike Holden in late February as the new sales manager based in Oakland, Calif. Prior to joining Longview, Holden served as the general manager of the Gilroy, Calif., corrugated plant for Temple-Inland, Inc., a paperboard and packaging company. Holdens sales, marketing and management experience spans 40 years, having worked with several companies including Weyerhaeuser Company, Stone Container and Box USA.
Also joining Longview is Scott Sander who started in his position as the new Seattle box plant manager on March 2. Sander brings experience in improving plant operations, implementing lean manufacturing techniques, as well as facility and asset management. Prior to joining Longview, Scott served as engineering manager for Smurfit Stone Container in Chicago.
Sander's industry experience spans 26 years, having worked for several other companies including: Packaging Corporation of America, Inland Paperboard and Packaging, Georgia Pacific and Weyerhaeuser Containerboard Packaging. Sander holds a bachelors degree in business from Mt. St. Clare in Clinton, Iowa, and an MBA in operations management from DePaul University in Chicago. He replaces Robert Lovelady who retired last year.
