Longview Fibre Paper and Packaging Announces Loosbrock as Sales and Marketing VP
LONGVIEW, Wash., Sept. 30, 2009—Longview Fibre Paper and Packaging, Inc., today announced that Lou Loosbrock will join the company as sales and marketing vice president, effective Oct. 1. In this role, Loosbrock will drive profitable growth for the company. He will develop and execute a marketing and sales strategy, critical to overall company success. He will lead the marketing and sales teams as they implement the strategy that will propel the company forward.
In addition, Loosbrock will raise customer awareness of the restructured and reinvigorated company’s capabilities. “Lou brings more than 30 years of experience in leading sales and operations divisions,” said President Randy Nebel. “We are excited for him to come on board as we continue transforming the company. We have significantly restructured the organization over the past two years to meet customer requirements, reduce costs and grow. Lou will play a key role as we continue building a very strong business that is responsive to customers’ needs.”
Loosbrock joins Longview Fibre Paper and Packaging after serving as president of the industrial and institutional services division of Nalco Company, based in Naperville, Ill. He previously led its Asia Pacific business, pulp and paper services, process chemicals and mining divisions. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the American Chemistry Council and the National Mining Association.
