In 1927, Longview opened its doors with one containerboard machine, 300 determined employees and a goal: to produce the best paper products possible. Today, Longview operates the most capable integrated mill on the U.S. West Coast and is a major domestic producer of kraft paper.
Over the years, things have progressed. We’ve taken advantage of technological advancements and upgraded our equipment and process controls. We’ve increased manufacturing capacity, lowered costs and enhanced our paper quality. Our multiple paper machine configuration provides a “one-stop shop” for kraft product selection and choice. And our converting plants are more cost-effective, efficient and competitive than ever, offering packaging solutions from brown boxes to high-graphic capabilities.
Yet our focus on safety, service, quality and integrity remains true. Paper and packaging aren’t just what we do. They’re who we are.
