Donates $5,000 to Community Action Services and Food Bank
 

LONGVIEW, Wash., Dec. 21, 2010 - On behalf of its employees at its Spanish Fork box plant, Longview Fibre Paper and Packaging, Inc. has donated $5,000 to Community Action Services and Food Bank.

Longview recognizes the value of giving back to the communities where it maintains long-standing operations. This is especially important during the holiday season when many families are in need of support.

"Over the course of the past year, our employees have devoted countless hours volunteering in their local communities," said Doug Bobay, senior director of human resources at Longview.

"We are thankful for the commitment our employees make to service organizations in and around Spanish Fork."

Longview is recognizing the positive, service-oriented actions of its employees through this donation that adds value to our communities.

"Longview has been a long-time member of the community," said Bobay. "As we grow and strengthen our roots in Spanish Fork, we will continue to support the community and provide career opportunities."
